Callaway Warbird x Bag

Callaway Warbird x Bag – Best Golf Bag on the Market

I have been using the Callaway Warbird x Bag now for well over six months and I do like it a lot. The Callaway Warbird X-Treme Golf Stand Carry Bag is available in two colours at the moment, either dark or navy and is well priced at around $100 and around £80 in the United Kingdom.

The one I use has a full length divider system and I find this particular feature to be of great use.  For quite a few years I used an open bag, or ones with just the header insert, but this full length divider is a pretty neat trick.

It weighs in at only just over 6lbs and comes with a moulded grip handle.  This makes it easy to carry and the weight if you are someone who likes to carry your bag is comfortable over the eighteen holes.

The Callaway Warbird x Bag has your standard features that you would expect on any good bag and include the umbrella loop, towel ring, glove holder and strap.

It has 9 pockets in total but one neat feature that I like is that it has a thermal storage pocket which is great for those chilly and cold days.  The pockets are great in this bag with two tiered full length clothing pockets, 2 panel pockets for your accessories and what Callaway class as a Corporate friendly accessory pocket.

The Callaway Warbird x stand bag has a dual stand making it pretty good in the wind.  It’s an easy to drop down stand and I find it more stable than many I have used before.  It is finished off with a 9″ Graphite friendly top and rain hood making it one very complete bag.

I find when I am writing a Callaway Warbird x stand bag review that I tend to focus in on the detail and can miss the basic things that make this bag really good. Therefore here are some basics, it has a 2-year warranty, a 3 point double strap system and a padded hip pad for comfort.

Callaway Warbird x Bag Personal Review

I would class the Callaway Warbird x Bag as an outstanding bag when on the course.  For me it mixes a high level of protection and organisation associated with more expensive bags and with neat little add-ons like a water bottle pocket, pen holder, ball marker etc.  The big selling point for me anyway was the stability of the stand mechanism and that’s what made up my mind in the end.  After that it was getting a colour choice of either the Callaway Warbird x stand bag black or the blue version.  I opted for the blue in the end as I think it just adds a little more dash to the overall appearance. It might also have had something to do with the fact that most of my golf clothes have blue in them somewhere.  It is a nice bag to look at sitting outside the Pro shop when you are getting your card and I like to at least look half professional when I am going out on to a course.

Two of the eight people that I normally play a few rounds with every year have also become converts to this bag.  They too liked the stand and the general look and weight of the bag.  For one of the guys it was the internal dividers that swung it for him.  He said that he used to hate trying to get a club out of his old when the shafts had become intertwined.  So I guess we will all have our individual reasons why we like one bag over the other but this will be my choice of golf bag for some years to come.

I hope you have found this article on the Callaway Warbird x Bag helpful and informative.
